The Talley Farms family are involved members of the San Luis Obispo Country community.
You can find our owners, managers and employees volunteering in educational, athletic, health-related, art and faith-based organizations.
As an organization, we’re committed to the success of the wonderful community we call home. The majority of our community involvement focuses on improving the lives of our employees, their families and our local neighborhoods.
In 2004, Brian and Johnine Talley established the Fund for Vineyard and Farm Workers, an organization that provide grants to non-profit organizations that assist San Luis Obispo County agricultural workers and their families.
In 1993, the Talley family established The Marianne Talley Foundation, a nonprofit organization established to fund scholarships for college-bound athletes from Arroyo Grande High School. The Fun Run was established as an annual fund-raising event in 1994 and is dedicated to honoring Marianne’s memory and to her commitment to health, fitness and exercise.
Several times a month, you can find Talley Farms employees giving tours of our farms, speaking at educational and civic events or manning a booth at a festival – always advocating for healthy eating and sustainable farming.
For more information on the rest of our community involvement, see our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/talleyfarms.
This “local” approach to community involvement is borne from our mission statement,
At Talley Farms we serve our customers with a commitment to excellence in growing, packing and shipping produce. We strive to do our very best with our people, our land and in our community.
