All year long, we grow over 40 different fruits and vegetables for our commercial accounts and home delivery subscription, but we couldn’t do it without California’s moderate climate. Seven miles inland from the Pacific Ocean, our farms enjoy warm days with cooling coastal breezes, and cold nights, all year long.

Sustainability & Stewardship

Safeguarding our precious natural resources

Our trained agronomists employ both time-tested methodologies and the latest in research to grow fruits and vegetables in the most responsible way possible while still maximizing yields.

Growing with only non-GMO seeds

We use only non-GMO seeds, favoring heritage and heirloom varieties, as well as methods and practices that support our commitment to growing the freshest natural produce.

Sustainable farming methods

Our sustainable farming methods include drip irrigation, monthly water testing for bacteria and germs, and application of organic sprays and fertilizers when possible – all while adhering to strict food safety practices in our fields and coolers.

Certified organic and conventional fields

We’re proud to farm USDA Organic Certified fields in addition to those we farm conventionally. Wherever possible, we use organic herbicides and pesticides — even in our conventional fields — if they are equally effective against the threat we are trying to mitigate.
